Robert Kasirer is an inventor who spent several years in the long-term health care and real estate financing industries before inventing a user interface program that manages intermediate and skilled health care facilities. Robert Kasirer attended St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York, in 1973, where he received a JD degree.

The St. John’s University School of Law is set to establish the Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law. Funded by a gift from the Mattone Group, the Mattone Family Institute will provide a training ground for law students on how to analyze market trends and the latest updates in real estate legislation.

The Institute will be named for Joseph M. Mattone, Sr., a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law in 1953, who went on to found his own real estate development group in New York City. The Mattone Group currently manages properties in Florida, Georgia, Connecticut, and New York and has developed more than 70 different properties.
