An experienced executive and attorney, Robert Kasirer maintains active involvement with charitable activities. One organization Robert Kasirer supports is Camp Ramah in the Berkshires. Camp Ramah provides young people with varied programs in a nurturing Jewish environment.
At Camp Ramah, part of its core mission is building camper’s connections to Israel. Programs infuse Israeli traditions and culture into the camp experience for all ages. The camp’s staff often includes many instructors and counselors from Israel. The camp also instills appreciation for the Shabbat in young people. Campers participate in Kaballat Shabbat services on each Friday, followed by a traditional meal. They also participate in services on the Shabbat, along with the concluding Havdalla service, which prepares them for an exciting new week ahead at camp.
Parents praise Camp Ramah for inspiring excitement for Jewish learning in their children. The camp also educates students in Hebrew through participating in games, music, and film.
